Hey guys, not sure if this is an appropriate forum, but I'm launching a new site for my moto-related endeavors, that I'd love to get your feedback on.

www.riderx.ca will be a home for my blog (still coming, last item on the list ironically), a moto-inspired tee-shirt line (for fund raising) and a place to provide exposure to my racing sponsors.

While the need for a site was percolating for some time, the clothing line was born out of COVID-19 isolation cabin fever we're all experiencing these days. Everywhere you turn the 'experts' are telling us to use this time to 'better ourselves' by learning a new skill and take time to 'focus on what's important'... I tried, but failed miserably at using Duolingo to learn French and got tired of 'focusing' on the inside of a Tequila bottle, day-drinking while trying to home-school my six year old. To keep sane, I decided to finish the site and try my hand at creating tees that I'd personally like to wear.

Through this process I had to re-learn Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as figure out Wordpress and Woo Commerce (online and e-commerce platforms) - I think these qualify as learning new skill, right?

Anyway, please visit the site and let me know what you think.

    Can we go riding yet????

Thank you. A few ideas already on the bench on how to represent some of the other favorite riding spots in Ontario as well! I thought fundraising with t-shirt sales was more appropriate than just asking for hand-outs to help my broke-ass go racing.

Nice write-up. Pretty cool to say you have spent some time at a Dakar bivouac!

It was surreal, but at the same time surprisingly casual. So bummed they are in Saudi now, which is a bit far and more complicated to repeat for a while...

Hey guys, check out the new video on the site - a lap around Goper Dunes XC course. The race didn't go as planned for me, but still got decent first lap footage. If you are thinking of entering a race, check this out to see if you's be up for the experience! (I highly recommend it and don't worry, most races are not this sloppy).

    As always, feedback welcome!

Thanks guys! Bike is fixed... found the culprit to the bike shutting off... I must have punctured main wiring harness at an enduro race last summer - there were lots, and lots of log obstacles, and not every one went smooth and the right rad got crushed into the frame pretty bad. I think it was then that the harness got pinched but took until this season to finally wear through and start shorting out. had to replace over a foot of dead wire from the persistent shorting... Now all good to go!

    New Post/Video Alert!

Hey guys, I've seen a few threads/questions about the Seguin and most people that take it run the Park to Park trail straight between 69 and Huntsville (maybe shooting North on Nippising Road, which is more fun, but still a bigger-bike ride), completely overlooking the awesome trails West of 69, Parry Sound an into Killbear... Check out my video of doing the 'West of 69' parts of the Seguin trail system:
