Thanks for a great ride Bruce. I enjoyed it a lot and will be looking to get a more suited bike for the future. Would have loved to have seen an electraglide cope in the clay based wet road!!

It was nice to have key points of interest along the way for the group to stop and have a few minutes to check out. I have passed by many of these spots over the years on my work commutes and never stopped to check them out (or knew about the mills there). I think the format is worth doing again, could be taken into other areas as well. I think the entire route would have been possible with a shorter lunch stop, or earlier start etc, although that is good social time I found I didn't really need the food, its a trade off. I had 346km in at the end and I know others had a lot more. Good job.

I will add my appreciation of the work and research that Bruce put into this. Seems therd is appreciation for this type of ride sooooooo,

I will look into the route for a gravel roads tour of the Bruce peninsula, nominally called the Lighthouse and Harbour circle tour

Once i have scouted and prepared a gps file i will post a new thread.

I only said it was the highest point in "southern" ontario...take that for what it's worth!
