My fellow troopers. I am soon taking a camping trip to these areas spending 4 days riding in each. I have 2 questions.

Anyone has some gps tracks and or suggested rides?

Please advice if your suggestion are doable on a Vstrom with nobbies or if i am better with a honda xr650l.

Thoughts...Ideas? and many thanks in advance.

So, you're going north again? What happened last time?

Seriously, I have a track-set for an "all-dayer" several hours east in Quebec. I recommend you get a buddy. It is doable on a VStrom though. If this is what you want, let me know and I will send the file.

POI...Kipawa/north-end of Temiscaming is your last gas stop. Next gas is near Deux Rivieres, QC. Do not enter the trail system without filling up. That's the only POI other than a river/beach about 110 km from entry point (Kipawa). That's the short little nub at about the 2/3 mark of the file. Watch out for bears and blocked trails (deadfall). The first stages are wide-open lumber roads. The last stages are two-track.
