New here , i live east end of Ottawa ont. i got a 890 adventure R , i am looking for trails. im looking to buy some passes of different organizations. any one got information on using OFATV with an advenutre bike or dual sport? Welcome Jessey! There are lots of trails in the Calabogie area and a few in the Larose forest. Most ATV trails are off limits to bikes. You can join the OFTR which has a mapping app to show where the trails are. The Bytown Motorcycle Association (BMA) has lots of people who would be happy to point you in the right direction. On the note of the OFTR app... which is awesome, thank you so much to all who contributed to and supported its development... when does it become active again this spring? I just checked it on my phone to start planning some rides and it's not yet available. Many thanks
There are a couple good events this summer that are great on the big bikes (I have an 890R as well)- check out Rallyconnex.com - depending on your ability and level of craziness they have some great dual sport rides and then some more aggressive stuff as we get further into the summer (Dacre and Rockhound). My bike is far from stock which helps with some of that craziness! D
