I bought a Garmin 60Cx for a 2011 Continental Divide ride. Haven't used it since, and being a luddite, I never really learned how to fully utilize the thing. Is it worth anything now? It is basically as it was new, but I know the technology replacement curve is steep. Honest advice would be appreciated. Rick

My 10 year old Garmin 60CSX just stopped working because the batteries leaked. It’s worked fine for my day long dual sport rides so I was considering asking about buying yours. The 60s were the last model in that line that had a proper plug for running off the bike’s battery. Unfortunately unlike the 60CSX, the 60CS has no expandable memory and the GPS chip is less sensitive. That limits it’s usefulness to me.

I have no idea what my 60CX is worth, but it has been stored, without batteries in it for a long time. Fired up and worked nicely yesterday.
BTW, the CX takes a standard SD memory card to give expanded memory. The only 'big' thing I remember the CSX having over the CX was the electronic compass so that direction can be accessed while stationery.
If interested, pm me or even phone, 905-878-4439.
Like I said I am a luddite and love old fashioned phone calls, even if from a 'smart' phone. Rick
