Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version Great video! I like how Paul had surgery for his ear problem, then went out and bought a new motorcycle (GasGas).
Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version Thanks for posting, I'm one of the guys that helped put this together. Both riders are part of the Bytown Motorcycle Association and this was filmed last September in Calabogie and Limerick forest in Eastern Ontario. It was a lot of fun, please share with other like minded individuals. It's a doc that most older guys can relate to. After becoming tired of watching 20 year olds do double backflips - we were looking for something truly inspiring and found Paul and Larry! Thanks, Dallas
Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version There are a lot of old guys who are very inspiring, some are "out there" more - others a little more behind the scenes. Riding dirt bikes keeps them thinking younger than their peers and more interested in life, just look around its suprising, Warren, Lloyd, Helmet, Arnie and many more are still riding and having fun! I decided a while ago that world peace probably wasn't going to happen whether I was involved or not, changing the world through politics required hanging with too many really slimy characters, dirt bikes are just plain fun and life too short to do without fun!
Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version Hey Dallas Please express our appreciation to the others involved in this great video. As for yourself ,, you know you done good. =D>
Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version Take out the parts re injuries, excessive speed and wheelies and submit it to CBC to play for those 'Hinterland Who's Who' and Canadian Film Board fillers. Good promo for the sport and health / lifestyle well being.
Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version Fantastic job guys! This is the 2012 version of On Any Sunday! Love the artistic direction as well.
Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version THANKS!! I'll pass it along. We've been watching the video stats - it's pretty crazy, 26, 000 views in 5 days. The video is gaining momentum... Larry and Paul are going to be famous!
Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version That was a great flick! Thanks for posting it, I enjoyed watching it and it made me want to get out and ride
Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version this is a great vid, do you mind if I share this on thumpertalk.com?
Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version Great video indeed! I can't speak for Dallas, but I don't think you are letting any cat out of any bag by sharing on ThumperTalk. I ran across it on the Cafe Husky web site this week (including a reply by some guy who rode with Larry in Nevada last month). Do a Google search for "Fifty Years of Kicks" dallas, then narrow to the past month. It has made the rounds!
Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version Please do! We are trying do share this video with as many people as possible. I just looked at the stats and it's been roughly 60,000 views in 14 days. That makes me really happy, a lot of people put a lot of time into completing that video... I was planning on getting around to that but life is hectic right now... need more hours in the day. If you do post it, can you post the link back here? Thanks, Dallas
Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version I Posted it on my site: http://www.2wheelcentral.com/fifty_years.htm
Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version Thanks Randy! BTW, I got a chance to spend time with Steve McC during the Vegas trip. He said you guys are part of the same childhood biking gang. Heh heh.
Re: Fifty Years of Kicks - Full Version Small world! Yup, we use to terrorize our neighborhood on minibikes and baffle-less CB350's.
What an inspiring movie...as a middle aged fellow, it really makes me want to focus on my physical condition, so I can continue riding for many years to come...I am now on the search for other similar movies.
