Thanks I noticed it on the OFTR site. Will they be adding ride details to that calendar or will that be posted elsewhere?
You will be able to find the details here or on our Facebook page. The OFTR will send out the info off our page. This is the Bethany thread. I expect it will get busy once the weather breaks and the pre riders start getting out on the route. Spring is just around the corner!!!!
Bethany Organizers - FYI Bethany 2017 is posted as Sat April 22 on the OFTR Calendar of events - is it Saturday or Sunday as posted above?
Pre-registration is now live on the Live Laps website. Goto livelaps.com and register as a participant Search Open events and find the Bethany Spring Dual Sport Ride. Follow the prompts to register in Advance. Its only 20 bucks and and the more people who pre-register the shorter the line up on the day of the ride!
Just leave that blank or put odsc You have to sign up for the live laps website to make it work. It's free and lots of other rides will use this system this year
Hi Kevin- tried to pm you but says I can't when I try ?? If you need any help pre riding aggressive or big dog route during mid week sometime - let me know. Eric
Kevin - I'm working all weekend nights but off Tuesday and Wednesday if you need any routes/gps tracks pre run. E
I am trying to get a free day this week but its not looking promising. do you have a buddy to ride with? Otherwise I am planning for Friday to pre-ride the DS route or early next week. The 3" of snow we had last week combined with my bike not being ready has delayed the pre riding.
I have some guys looking to get out too mid week. Look like possibly Wednesday . Email me to discuss as pm s don't work with me/you it seems. ecarnell At Hotmail.com
I am new here, can I just show up at the ride and register there? Would love to come out to such an event Being a noob, any must haves gear wise and whatnot? I literally just started riding my dual sport yesterday. Just driving into this culture. -Andrew
At least for now, the recent rain has ensured that the northern portions of the Bethany Ride are just how I like it. * Insert evil **** eating grin here * Now to find time to actually ride it this year. Cheers Andy
I'm coming off a decade of street riding. I'm not sure how much, if any, of my street gear can carry over to trail/dirt riding? I've got some offroad boots and knee guards, but beyond that what should I be looking at? Is the Bethany aggressive route something one with limited experience attempt?
