I was thinking of taking the day off and getting one last ride in on Nov 30.

Anyone know how much snow there is there? I am ok with a little bit, but would like to be able to see the trail...

    I have no studs.

    Thanks!

Hopefully it will melt a bit by then too.... The trees do tend to like to hold on to it tho.

The Peterborough airport weather cam shows some snow, but probably not enough to be an issue.

I live north of Bowmanville. The snow is almost all melted. The trails should still be good in this area even after the Ganny closes. Might have to suit up in sled gear to stay warm !

Planning on making my usual trip out to the ganny on closing day, Wednesday. Weather calling for 10 degrees and showers....plus 3 the night before. I doubt studs will be needed. Unless you really want to stick.

Was at the Ganni today with Neil. Absolutely no snow at all. Other than a few slick spots, the trails are in great shape.

Quite a few trees down, we spent a while dragging smaller ones off the trail. Conditions were good, highest temperature was 42*F, winds were calm and it was nice to be out riding. The logging has really messed up a few of the trails, hopefully the loggers do a decent cleanup.

Awesome. Thanks! Hopfully the rain isn't too bad.

Whereabouts are those trail? I'm gonna stick with what I know for this year since I'll be alone, but those look a little different from what I am riding from P2 mostly picking up the single tracks going south from there. Worth a looksee

There are a bunch of signs near WF51 saying trails are temporary closed due to logging activity.

The coordinates where the pictures of the logging in Neil's post above was taken is
    N44° 04.458' W78° 32.391'
