Minor scuffs, but otherwise looks ok. Am I missing anything?

Would you make an offer? If so, how much?

I don't think that is exactly useful advice for a new rider.

Plex - That XT appears to be in decent shape. It's a perfectly fine bike for what you're looking for to start. A few people on here have used them with fine results. I didn't see a price, so don't know if it's good value or not..

It's got a scuffed tail light lens, scuffed clutch perch and some boot wear or scratches on the clutch cover. Pretty normal stuff for a trail bike. The oil spots above the flywheel cover could mean a small leak or could just be from stuff thrown up by the front tire. The price should reflect that it has 11,000km.

Don't let the dealer run you up on the price for little extras. I see acquired dust from sitting so he may have had this bike for a while. Be fair but be firm.

That looks like a great bike to start out on. In general it would be easy to ride , cheap maintenance , cheap insurance and a ton of fun. A good choice for a first bike. Google can give you a good idea what they sell for.
